Went to watch a chinese movie last night, it's called Dragon Tiger Gate (literally translated from it's mandarin title Long Hu Men). Ehh! Did I just went to watch a chinese flim????? You guys must be surprised. Haha! We were discussing what movie to watch when Jesper and Nicolle suggested the title. The way they described... seems like a not-too-bad production. It's lifted from it's comic counterpart with the same title. This comic is sold worldwide for 30 years! Perhaps can ask daddy 'bout it. He must have read it in his younger days. Heex!
Before we head to Marina Square, we had our vegetarian dinner at the hawker centre located in Circuit Road. It's the second time we've been there and these vegetarian dishes is more yummilious than the "real stuff"! Will post the pix when we're not too hungry to eat first the next time...

23 July 2006Watched Combien Tu M'aimes? (How Much Do You Love Me?) over the weekend. It's been quite a while since Monica Bellucci last flim - Passion of The Christ. I love the way Blier crafted such a witty and sexy movie (thou the last part was a bit confusing). Monica Bellucci has always been my favourite actress. I'd catch any flim that she casted in. She won my heart over the flim Malena and of course for the guys, the my-heart-skip-a-beat scene in Irreversible.
Another show we watched is Nacho Libre. Sometimes it's nice to laugh over lame and silly acts of Jack Black. The funniest was when he sang a song he composed that portrait his love for Sister.

22 July 2006Seriously, life is boring without football huh? I think my last post stops since the World Cup ended. BUT... these 2 weeks, my life seemed a lil bit more interesting (to get over the fact that France LOST!). Heex! I love my new group of company after work. We went eating round the island (ehh... that's a bit exaggerating). Having 19 colour plates, 6 red plates and bento set for each of us at the table, tasting fermented beancurd (chou tou fu) @ geylang and occasional drinking sessions. Wah! Love my life! And... I love chou tou fu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our newfound delicacy!

8 July 2006I guess you might have listen to Paris Hilton's new song - Stars Are Blind over the radio. It's a nice hit, isn't it? Unfortunately, the album isn't out now. I'm gonna buy it!!! It just didn't sound like her. Saw her MTV for this song as well... apparently, the theme for this music video doesn't quite match with the lyrics. She's on the beach and with a cute hunk and she's in bikini - 80% of the time. Covers for the album?
I was extremely stressed out by my boss on Friday. Friday's supposed to be relaxing and easy to end the 5- day working week. I hate it! I didn't managed to see a Deed Poll inside a client's divorce file and of course I was blasted by that old, bad-tempered man... arrgh! I think I got Irene into the hot soup as well... I'm sorry! So, both of us were very unhappy over the trivia matter. Luckily the day was not too tough to end... To welcome my weekend mood, Gerald brought me to have a nice and not-so-expensive dinner @ Takashimaya. We've been there once and fell in love with it. Love it, love it love it!
The whole dinner only costs 25 bucks!! Ain't it a worthy deal? And the best thing is, it takes a lil' more than 15 minutes to get your food infront of you with no service charge!

5 July 2006I'm so disappointed!!!!! I thought the Germans will play and win like they did when they're against Argentina. :( very sad... I even bother to set the alarm at 3am to wake me up to watch them play! We even bet 20 bucks on them! But I believe they have tried their best. No more Ballack and Klose...
All I left now is Portugal... That is tonight's match. Most prolly I'll be watching. No high hopes that they'll win but with Miguel, C. Ronaldo and Figo there's still some light shinning on. Wait and see...
Gotta get back to work and send that bloody Writ of Divorce to China...

2 July 2006Yes!! England is finally OUT of the World Cup! Is not that I hate England but... I just hate to see Victoria Beckham keep appearing on my tv screen. We were at Red Dot's boulevard with hubby & colleagues after sending Kendrick & family back to Australia. I think I'm the only Portugal-supporting soul in the bar... :( even hubby sides England! Like everyone is shouting for England and I gotta raise my voice a lil louder to cheer for Portugal~ But I'm really glad that England got sent off. England is really really baaaaaaaad at penalty shoot-outs.... Imagine only 1 successful attempt out of 7! Maybe if Becks is in the pit, they could have won and only if Rooney wasn't that bad tempered, fat and clumsy. Hee!
Managed to rush back home at 3am to watch Brazil vs France after sending Woody, who drank "a little bit too much" right into his doorstep. It so SAD that Brazil gotta pack their bags... Why didn't they work a lil' harder and chose to break Brazil's fans' hearts? It's really a pity... I hate to see cutie Ronaldo and ever-smiling Ronaldinho go~ Hey, I noticed something bout him... I wonder if you ever did...

1 July 2006No RED DOT for us last night and hence how could I miss the Germany Vs Argentina match?! It's really a gruelling 10 minutes after Argentina shot in a goal during the 49 minute. Thanks to Klose who managed to make it a draw and that leads to a 4-2 penalty shoot-out. Germany won!!!!!!!!!!! Argentina became the first team to be send off in the Round of 8. I hope they can win the World Cup this time! And I think Ballack look sexy last night... Hee
How could I still look fresh and awake with all these late night matches? So, I got a Christian Dior Skinflash concealor + highlighter to hide away the panda eyes. Thanks to hubby for getting me a CD lipstick! Yummy lips!
