Bought a bebe handbag - the smaller version of the tote bag tat hubby bought, and a satin shirt! Not an easy task to spend 300 bucks in 15 mins... Hehe

Joey's FIRST traffic offence on the FIRST day of 2007! Arrgh!!!!!!!! 111km/h is not fast when you are driving an AirTrek Turbo and especially rushing your hubby to work. I pass by that stretch of expressway again in the night, there isn't any speed cameras there! It must be a police car hiding in the bushes.

Do you know that sex-workers in Singapore is getting more professional nowadays? They even carry name cards around! It's really an eye-opener in my job.

I'm so so so happy to see yong da yesterday! He's a good pal of mine back in my poly days. He's witty, supportive and definitely the best person to be around with when you're alone cuz ------ he makes you laugh your ass off with his silly real-life jokes!

Oh oh oh! There's one extremely important thing tat i forgotten! It's daddy's birthday today! But i bought him a Burberry's shirt yesterday... so... it should be fine right? Happy Birthday Papa! Celebrated my birthday, went for a whole day trial, 2 completions and 2 movies all in a week!

Let's begin with my "older by a year" day.

It's not all the time that I'll wake up to a morning "birthday" kiss, so it's a pretty rare romantic act from gerald. We have always wanted to step into that restaurant cuz the dishes' name seem so delicious. We headed to Vivocity and find ourselves infront of The Mussels Guy. The place looked so empty! And the menu doesn't really seem as appealing as the dishes hanging on the wall outside. We ordered Surf and Turf amd Spicy Mussels.

Look miserable huh? Gerald says it's our punishment for not supporting Fish & Co and The Manhattan Fish Market. But we did enjoyed the one and a half dozen of mussels!

We drove, walked, cycled and even took a cable car ride into Sentosa. What's next? Sentosa Express! $3 per pax two-way ticket valid for that day ride into Sentosa. Boardfrom Vivocity and it brings to 3 stations - WaterFront Station, Imbiah Station and Beach Station. The ride to and fro is about 15 mins.

Along the way, we pass by the Musical Fountain. I think they demolished it. It looked so run-down and desserted.

Compared to a normal open Court in Subordinate Court, the Strata Titles Board open Court is bigger and not as cold. In normal Courts we call them Judge, but in STB Court we call them President. It's a whole day of tongue fight, and my poor hand has to keep up with them. At around 6pm, the President and Members still cannot come to a judgement and according to them, they are sick of seeing our faces dealing with the same problem! Finally, an Order is passed - an expert to pinpoint the responsibility of each party to rectify the faults. It's already 7 pm. AND... nobody loses his temper!!!!!!!!!

Watched 2 nonsense movies - Perfume and Feast. Conclusion? Stupid dumb nonsense show.

We woke up to a cool weather, drove to vivocity, had lunch at The Mussels Guy, took a ride on the new Sentosa Express to Sentosa, watch School For Scoundrels, went to Guess and hubby bought me a purse! It's so fun! Been so long since we took day off and really play.

Hmmm.... nothing much to blog about this week. Rather (in fact very!) busy with work.

My birthday is coming!!!!!!!! So glad that boss agreed to let me off for a day, but when I return to work.... tonnes of files will be waiting for me.

Oh yes~ the water leakage case will be heard on 18th! I'm half excited and half-worried. Nonetheless, this file was created back in 2003! I only start to take over the file like 2 months ago? So, there's a lot of catch up to do. Plus, I'll be facing 2 hot-tempered men (my client and boss) during the trial. I posted boss a question on Friday:

".......... JC loses his temper easily?"
"Oh yes!"
"Huh!!!! Then what are we going to do if he lose hhis temper?"
"Oh, don't worry. I'll control him"
"(silent) Will you lose your temper as well?"
"Me? No no! I'm very courteous when I'm in Court."
REALLY?!

It's very rewarding when someone appreciates your work...

A property agent brought this to thank us for the work done! However, my clients aren't so aprreciative~

I couldn't resist it when the counter showed this sleek box to a customer. Look at the design and how cute the 4 little squares of powder are being put together. Without hestitation, I "jumped the Q" and asked the girl for 1. According to her, the designer from Chanel moved over to Givenchy, and this is his first creation for them.

Literally spending 150 bucks just to get Esprit's membership? Yes, tat's me!!! After signing 150 away... thinking wat else i could get in the store with tat red color card... IT'S WORTH THE MONEY! The beginning of 2007 and the super duper long weekend slip pass us unknowingly. Time really has no mercy on us when we're happyily enjoying ourselves? Like the 8 mins firework displays last night... Boom boom and it mark the beginning of a fresh year. Pix will be up but too bad, my olympus' battery went flat just before we reach fullerton and my k800i's camera just cant do justice to the real thing.
